The 2024 Acura Integra Type S will start at $51,995, the company confirmed in a press release Thursday.
That price includes a $1195 destination charge. Acura also said the first 200 U.S.-bound Integra Type S units will be made available for reservation on the company's website on May 11 at 1 p.m. eastern time.
The Acura Integra Type S is $7605 more expensive than the 2023 Honda Civic Type R on which it's based. Both cars use the same turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, but the Integra makes 320 hp, up from the Honda's 315.
There's also a limited-slip differential, adaptive dampers, Brembo brakes, and a trick dual-axis front suspension designed to deter oversteer. The only choice of transmission is a six-speed manual, just how we like it.
Fuel economy numbers have also been released, with the Integra Type S EPA-rated at 21 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 24 mpg combined, according to Acura.
