I just test drove a used 2017 Type R with 800 miles on it.
It still had the factory 20" rims and OEM tires.
I experienced a lot of road noise travelling at 40 to 50 MPH.
I am not referring to engine or exhaust noise as I did not find that objectionable.
It was loud even while coasting without the radio on. Much louder than my 16 Accord.
This will be my only car and therefore I don't want it to be too noisy.
Did anyone, that replaced the OEM rims and tires with 19" all season tires, notice a significant reduction of road noise?
Has anyone reduced the interior noise? If yes, what did you use and how much did it cost?
